Why are shootings only at Public Schools ? Hmmm ?! Because it’s the government. They fail at EVERYTHING they declare war on ?

War on Poverty? Failure.

War on Terror ? Failure.

War on Drugs ? Failure.

War on Stupidity ? Failure.

War on Guns ? Soon to be a failure.

As the article, by Dr. Michael J. Hurd, so poignantly states, instead of having a War on Guns, we should be declaring a War on Public Schools. Obama frequently proposed having a “national debate or discussion” on whatever he or his marxist ass-kissers considered worthy of discussion. I don’t, however, recall him having suggested a national debate on the privitization of public schools.

I think it’s time we time we have one.

Rep. Thomas Massie:

It’s time to repeal the “Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990.”
Let teachers carry to protect kids & themselves. Support H.R. 34 “Safe Students Act.”

You can secure a public school without turning it into a prison camp.

Do government and court buildings secure themselves by calling for gun control or do they install security systems and hire guards?

It's time schools took security seriously.

Because private schools keep problem kids out.

What is the breakdown of school shootings between public and private schools?

Some twelve years ago there was a famous shooting in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in Amish country.

This was not a typical “government-owned” school.

The Amish are much more careful about locating their schools now, and allowing access to them.

Send all students to the private schools of their parents’ choosing.

Unfortunately, I don’t think the author’s premise is correct. There was a shooting at an Amish school in Pennsylvania a few years ago, along with shootings at private universities like Oikos in Oakland, California. It’s a symptom of a deeper national rot.

Ludicrous statement——there aren’t enough private schools.

Public schools are here to stay.

Ah, but it's not waste.

If you want to keep your population horribly educated.

Why we had two terms of Ubama:

Probably because there are simply more of them. IIRC 91% of all kids go to public schools.

Because government schools promote students to be conflicted and unsure of themselves

Because government education promotes atomized, disconnected individuals from belonging to anything, except the authority of the bureaucracy.

Because union rules, liability, and bureaucracy also make teachers disconnected and atomized, and prevent teachers from saying anything about dangerous students
