Attorney General Jeff Sessions is ordering a review into the FBI and Justice Department's procedures after the bureau revealed it had failed to act on a tip about the teenager accused of carrying out a deadly mass shooting in Florida.
It is now clear that the warning signs were there and tips to the FBI were missed. We see the tragic consequences of those failures," Sessions said in a statement Friday.
The FBI in conjunction with our state and local partners must act flawlessly to prevent all attacks. This is imperative, and we must do better."
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will conduct the review, he said.

I understand your sarcasm but an alternative idea that might work is for every federal department and agency to have a division that functions like a closet to store those who fail in the most obvious endeavors, like investigations, corrections, and like activities.
Congress could specify that the closet is automatically dismissed once a year....etc.
"I'm too sleepy!"
If it prevents even ONE school shooting, it is WELL WORTH deporting ALL the DACA “kids”!!
It is time for him to go. Past time.
more like the Elmer Fudd DOJ
This is a joke. Why even bother? Everybody sees through this BS.
President Trump’s continued confidence in Jeff Sessions is beginning to affect my confidence in president Trump. Jeff Sessions is a traitorous backstabbing loser who blows goats.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will conduct the review, he said.

Now, that is REASSURING!
Maybe, he can start by investigating his own involvement in Uranium One.....then indicting himself & Mueller... ?
Or he will find that Wray is another establishment joke, planted by those who wish to hide career criminals in their own hierarchy?
Especially since the kid bought his weapon legally with the necessary FBI background check. Had the fibbers done their jobs, name might have been flagged possibly preventing a sale. In Arkansas a student not in school with a C average cannot get a drivers license. You would think several expulsions and drugs for anxiety/depression along with reports to the authorities might be cause for a second look? FBI?
I believe that Sessions voted for Doug Jones on Dec. 12, instead of Judge Moore. Sessions said he believe all the Moore accusers without even checking into their validity.
You are probably right. Sessions fooled everyone. He barely got confirmed not one Rat voted for him. Little did they know he would be the best friend they ever had.
Sessions woke up?
Thought he could sleep thru anything.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will conduct the review, he said.
Geez, and here I had such hopes that deep down inside Sessions, there was a little spark of interest in his job.
Darn...wrong again.
“...the warning signs were there and tips to the FBI were missed....”
Hey Sessions, the signs were not missed. THEY WERE IGNORED!!!
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will conduct the review, he said.

Each time Sessions or anyone expresses confidence in Rosenstein it causes me to wonder “damn, have they been asleep for 8 years or are they STOOPID or are they giving us all a big FU or is Rosenstein, or someone, blackmailing them?!
