We used to watch "Zorro" and other Latino hero type movies with our now adult kids because of their positive portrayal of Latino men or women fighting for just causes. I can relate for the need but I've seen so many positive roles for black men, many based on life stories ("Gifted Hands - The Ben Carson Story" being the last we saw) that it's hard to justify or process the overhype for this release.

Dr. Ben Carson is now bad. He came out as a republican, so America's enemies figuratively crucified him. He's even in President Trump's administration, so he is persona non grata in leftist conversation, which includes all discussion of race.
