If President Donald Trump wants to hold a massive parade honoring the military, he should hold it in Pyongyang, not Washington.
The boulevards there are well built, long and wide, perfect for a showy and orchestrated military parade, which is why North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un holds so many of them.
Massive tanks, assault vehicles and rocket carriers do not tear up the pavement or knock down statues of him, his father or his grandfather, or adjoining buildings in downtown Pyongyang.

Lowell has indeed hit hard times, but the paper’s ownership, Media Newsweek Group, explains a lot.
I don’t know what he’s advocating but it’s a stupid to even contemplate something like that.
Even my dumbass local newspaper ran a cartoon showing Trump and Fat Boy in agreement about military parades. But if not this, they’d find something else to ridicule, which doesn’t matter much since no one trusts the media anymore.
We could start with a B-52, B-1 and B-2 Flyovers and bombing demonstrations, then have some nice artillery bombardment exhibitions, show off the capabilities of the M-1 Abrams, then have the Army and Marines parade down the main Boulevard and end it with Trump planting an American Flag in fat boys forehead!

President Trump wants a celebratory, red-white-blue parade with lots of American flags - one that honors brave Americans - not one that intimidates its citizens.
