Gravity has been okay this year. Weather, however, has been a problem. It was raining when we left the house, but it stopped about the time we arrived at the pool, and Sally says the forecast gives her hope that they’ll get through at least half.
I wonder where those really orange kittehs come from? Or is it a trick of the camera and lighting?
Either way, good morning.
I just read an interesting article by Louis Foxwell on the Supreme Court appointees and it cleared up so many things for me. I’m really glad I decided to get his pings!
It’s terrible to wake up feeling as tired as I was when I went to bed, but that’s the way it goes. Maybe I’ll take a nap after my shower. Maybe.
Do you still have rain?
No rain since about 5:00 yesterday. The swim meet was completed with no interruptions from Thor. We lost lost by a very large margin, though. Last one of the season. It’s hot here this morning, but that’s what you get this time of year.
I don’t know if the kittens are genuinely that bright orange. The poster could be manipulating the color.
Our temp dropped 24° from 1700 yesterday to now, but my daughter saw a 35° drop in Longmont. It was 100° yesterday and it’s 65° now. She keeps raving about how “mild” it is on the Front Range. ;o]
Time for me to shower so I can stand myself. *yawn* Maybe it will wake me up a little.
I showered last night so I could stand myself.
We’re leaving in about 30 minutes for VBS, and, with one thing or another, may not be home until 2:00. The cats will enjoy our absence.
I’ve showered, made the bed, had my steroid and taken out the trash since today is trash day.
The shower made me feel a bit better, but I could still use a good jolt with a cattle prod to get me going.
Pete is supposed to fix the rocker panels on the truck, but as much as he reeked yesterday from alcohol and old sweat (the relapse makes me super-sensitive to odors...) I suspect he will have forgotten by now that we even talked. He had the stuff I bought for the job (sandpaper, epoxy and stirring sticks) plus his knee pads, but like I say: Alcohol causes memory lapses.
LOL! Quite befitting for that little critter! :o])
It looks like the kitteh spotted a flying squirrel.
Happy Friday, everyone.
I don’t know if its a happy Friday with happy little clouds and even happier little trees, but it IS Friday.
Good morning ArGee.
I’ve been up almost six hours and it would appear as though I accomplished a lot. But looks can be deceiving. It will remain Friday throughout the day.
You ain't kidding. When I lived in Houston many men had photos of their wives in their offices. The photos had been produced by a company called "Glamour Shots." When I actually met their wives they looked nothing like the photos. Their looks, at least as recorded by the camera, were not just deceiving, they were out-right liars.
Red Dwarf Ping!
Or a smegging garbage pod.
Happy Friday, y’all!
Isnt that a CNN ad?
My daughter and I got Glamour Shots one year, and it was the first time since I had been forced to retire due to illness (CFIDS) that I looked like the me that I knew for the last 20 years. I still feel like that photo on the inside, but nothing about me on the outside is recognizable as the same person.
All that is to say, I know exactly what you mean.
GAH! I, Robot. Now I’m wound too tightly... Thanks, Nully
;o]
Howyaz! We are home.
