Where did the original on the come from? I KNOW that painting — one dog facing east, the other facing west. Something tells me that was from a Coen Brothers movie.

Brittany Packnett ✔ @MsPackyetti: "Can we talk about how stunningly powerful it is to see a black man in a garden the way Kehinde Wiley painted Barack 0bama?! It dismantles so much and creates new visions of masculinity that black men rarely have the public permission to explore."
OMFG!

Okay everybody, PRETEND you love these paintings like everyone in that room did. What a JOKE. Disgusting narcissists!
It looks like 'paint by numbers' therapy for someone in a 12 step program .

In looking at both portraits, I thought “man-spreading” is currently a cultural taboo...especially for Michael/Michelle. Perhaps the “wide stance” is code for his days in Chicago at the “Man’s Country” bath house.

Haha. Somebody post the painting of Tony Soprano dressed up like Napolean with the horse.
That would be funny. Especially since I talked about it first.

Follow up comment:
Those have to be two of the most shittiest paintings I've ever seen. Especially Mooch's.
But at least they were painted by black people, and that's what's important, right?
I've just never seen affirmative action paintings before, I guess. I don't get out much.

It was from Goodfellas. Joe Pesci’s mom painted it.
