Wiki has them a bit more mixed, but still much whiter than I thought.

Still pretty mixed.
I originally stated I believed it was mixed; in a previous lifetime I used to go to a great indoor flea market there years ago, and while the clientele was mixed you passed some nice houses to get there. Neighboring Elizabeth, on the other hand, is probably the Hispanic capital of Union County.
One thing that is changing here in NJ is that the black population doesn’t seem to be growing, while the Hispanic population is exploding; it was a large factor in Cory Booker finally unseating Sharpe James in Newark.
