No kidding! When my dog was ill and the Vet didn’t have what she needed at the time, they transferred the prescription to Walgreens!
The Pharmacist, who I knew, signed my d@mn DOG up for their ‘Rewards Card’ and I got the meds my DOG needed for $15.00, versus the hundred or so my Vet would’ve charged!
It’s SUCH a feckin’ RACKET!
Very true about knowing your druggist. I think all 4 of our bullies are in the reward program? haha We get a lot of our dogs scripts from our local pharmacy. Our vet is pretty good about knowing where we can get it cheaper, from her or our pharmacy [if available at our human pharmacy]....and will fill or write us a script for whichever saves us more money.
