Racism is becoming a huge topic at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, in large part because of the uptick in Black athletes participating in the games. Greater diversity and inclusion has unfortunately opened the doors to more racist critics and incidents, including one involving speed skater Shani Davis.
The Opening Ceremony featured several athletes carrying flags for their countries on Friday morning, but noticeably absent was Davis, who was the first Black athlete to win individual gold at a Winter Olympics at the 2006 Turin Games. He boycotted the festivities after saying that Team USA dishonorably chose womens luge veteran Erin Hamlin, who is White, as flag-bearer for the ceremony. A 4-4 tie between Davis and Hamlin led to a deciding coin toss after athletes from the U.S. Olympic Committees eight different sports federations cast their votes for the two athletes. A tweet from Davis disclosed his frustration over the situation, but more importantly, he tied the incident to race with the #BlackHistoryMonth2018 hashtag.
It raises an important question: Will the 10 Black American athletes protest at the Winter Olympics?

That’s what I think... all these distractions gonna come back and bite’em in the @ss.
I am tired of “blacks” in general, and leftist black athletes in particular.
They have become like a carbuncle on the ass of the country.
Are there any black Olympic skiers?
When will blacks be allowed to get Gold metals?
When will they get the right to vote?
Or, own houses?
Or, be allowed to drive a car?
Or, get married?
Not watching.
I’m not watching either...had the former S. Korean President still been in office I would...but this new guy is a Globalist and extreme liberal. He wants our Protection but makes it difficult because he wants the status quo to continue with NKorea Pay them and appease them.
Black skiers?
Snow boarders?
Bobsledders?
Luge?
Blacks do not have the cold tolerance to compete
Well that’s just the Obama/Hillary reach going on there. They have plants and willing stooges to make issue at every venue possible. This guy was one of them....likely promised media attention and thereafter TV offers for interviews.
Well there you have it....
Go for it. More for me to cheer against.
So far there are 4 Olympians on my shit list.
Vonn, Davis and the Queer Bros.
He’s 31-years-old ....probably figures his last chance to get in the news headlines.....one way or the other.
If Olympic sporting events or categories do not measure performance that translate into warrior skill sets they should be removed.
Jesse Owens protested the Nazis, but our black athletes promote Chinese and Nork communist based racism and other racist islamic nations participating, only bashing America!
"Miss Davis" is a guy - probably a gay man from his appearance, but still a biological male.
Why is snow always white?

Do Asians have hissy fits when we speak of ‘Yellow Snow’?
I may be able to agree with the blacks when it comes to roadways.
I was in the Asphalt(Blacktop for those of you in Rio Linda) business and we would pave the road then come along and put White Stripes on top, obviously to ‘hold down the black portion’,
Then, to make matters worse, when White Stripes aren’t used, Yellow is, another opportunity to show the Black who is on top of who.
Go ahead, a-holes, I’m already not watching!
Davis had already said he wasn’t going to attend opening ceremonies because it conflicted with his training schedule.
Regardless of the flag-bearer bru-haha of his own making, he wasn’t going to be there.
not interested in viewing the likes of you or any others who are "flamers"!
Sad day when this is what we got to represent our nation.....
Why do you have a problem with Vonn?
She said "I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the President." and also said that she would not go to the whitehouse.
