We have a locally owned McD’s in the area, they own at least a dozen stores.
They treat their employees like gold, they have great food, and a great reputation in the community.
Their stores are spotless and I cannot give them a higher recommendation in any area.
Yes, there are very well run franchises but that is NOT the norm. And, the food products they use are so full of preservatives and chemicals and Lord knows what else, it’s simply not safe for me to eat it.
I’d prefer to go to a restaurant that is locally owned using fresh ingredients. Yes, sometimes that means I pay 10-15 for a burger, but so be it..
