Perhaps the answer is a FOOD TRUCK. Cook the food in transit so that it comes of the grill or out of the fryer when you get to the customer’s front door.
How this would work, not up to me to solve, but unless they can figure it out it will not work.

maybe not a bad idea ... the burger truck could slowly cruise the neighborhoods playing a cutesy, annoying jingle over a loud speaker that penetrates for blocks, with said truck covered with cute cartoonish pictures of burgers, fries, shakes, etc.
