What I haven’t seen anyone else cover is the fact that the “text messages” were not ordinary messages. Warner was communicating via Signal, an encrypted app. Moreover, Warner had his messages set to disappear. (The hour glass icon in the text exchange.)   Warner’s decision to use Signal and disappearing messages has two implications.One goes to sources. As these are screen caps, the source has been outed. It’s someone who was directly involved in the conversation who had physical possession of the phone. You’d need to have the actual phone in order to obtain the Warner screen caps. Second, if, as Marco Rubio claims, Warner had nothing to hide, why was Warner using an encrypted app? Why did Warner have Signal set to delete all messages automatically?
