President Donald Trump acknowledged a report Thursday that shows how Democratic Sen. Mark Warner was in contact with a lobbyist for Russian oligarch Oleg V. Deripaska.
A report from Fox News Thursday reveals text messages between Adam Waldman, a lobbyist for Deripaska, and Warner. In the messages Sen. Warner expressed interest in meeting with Christopher Steele, the author of the unverified dossier used to get a warrant to surveil former Trump campaign associate Carter Page.
In the messages, Warner said that he didnt want to leave a paper trail of meetings with Steele.

7 Feb: CNS News: Susan Jones: 3 days before ‘Potus wants to know’ text, House Dems asked FBI to investigate Trump-Russia ‘Connections”
On August 30, 2016 — three days before FBI agent Lisa Page sent a Sept. 2 text message saying that “potus wants to know everything we’re doing’ — House Democrats asked the FBI to investigate Trump-Russia “connections.”
In a letter to then-FBI Director James Comey dated August 30, 2016, House Democrats wrote in part:
“Based on multiple press reports, it appears that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating whether Russia executed cyber attacks against the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) that resulted in the illegal hacking of a wide range of emails and other documents.
“We are writing to request that the FBI assess whether connections between Trump campaign officials and Russian interests may have contributed to these attacks in order to interfere with the U.S. presidential election.
“Serious questions have been raised about overt and covert actions by Trump campaign officials on behalf of Russian interests. It is critical for the American public to know whether those actions may have directly caused or indirectly motivated attacks against Democratic institutions and our fundamental election process.”
Three days later, according to newly released texts seen by Fox News, Lisa Page and her fellow FBI agent Peter Strzok were discussing the preparation of talking points for Comey to give to President Obama, who “wants to know everything were doing,” Page wrote to Strzok.
The FBI’s investigation into Clinton’s emails was closed in early July 2016 and not reopened until late October, so — based on the Democrats’ interest in Trump-Russia “connections” on August 30, 2016 — it appears that may be what POTUS wanted to know about...

Ptsal,
I second bagster’s post; great meme!
“Unusual ability to make a pun for someone whos not a native speaker.”
Umm, he’s from New Zealand. What language do you think they speak there?
Nope he won’t. Rubio came out and is defending him. Both on same committee saying Warner told us 4 months ago.
I agree on your assessment.
By not rushing in, look how much more we know today then a year ago.
As someone else mentioned, they all expected Hillary to win so they did not try very hard to hide the conspiracy to get her elected.
The only thing keeping this sand castle safe is the main stream media. They have been working overtime to muddy the water. However, if Sessions is in fact working quietly in the background we will not know it until they are ready to begin arresting the members of the conspiracy.
Before that happens the groundwork has to be prepared and that is what President Trump is doing with his tweets.
The Democrats have to be getting desperate since all their dirty little secrets are being exposed drip by drip. While it is not a wave of incoming tide the slow drip is melting their sand castle and soon all will be exposed.
They speak KIWI right?
I want to so see the first ever ex-First Lady in U.S. history going to jail!
Arrest warrants can be issued without an indictment using an “Information” accompanied by affidavit(s) demonstrating probable cause.
This type of arrest would be followed by an arraignment in court.
Both methods of charging require sworn testimony; but, the arraignment procedure does not involve a grand jury.
Rule 9. Arrest Warrant or Summons on an Indictment or Information
(a) Issuance. The court must issue a warrantor at the government’s request, a summonsfor each defendant named in an indictment or named in an information if one or more affidavits accompanying the information establish probable cause to believe that an offense has been committed and that the defendant committed it. The court may issue more than one warrant or summons for the same defendant. If a defendant fails to appear in response to a summons, the court may, and upon request of an attorney for the government must, issue a warrant. The court must issue the arrest warrant to an officer authorized to execute it or the summons to a person authorized to serve it.
Thanks.....lays it out perfectly for our purposes.
