Released texts between Peter Strzok, the FBI agent who ran the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s email server, and his lover, FBI attorney Lisa Page, reveal the strong possibility that Strzok used his cell phone in a SCIF — a strict violation of protecting classified information.
Such a breach would compromise Strzok’s ability to probe Clinton for mishandling classified info and show a lack of awareness about security breaches, which is what he was tasked to investigate. The text messages that the Senate released Wednesday show that Strzok texted his mistress on Aug. 11, 2016, “We’re in Jims SCIF.”
SCIF stands for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, and it is where the most sensitive classified material is kept and story. SCIFs strictly bar all electronic equipment and require all people place their phones in lockers before entering.
The lead up to Strzok’s visit to “Jims SCIF” took place around meetings at the Department of Justice. Strzok said he had meetings at “DoJ at 4 then Baker 430.”
Hours later, Page responds, “Can you and [redacted woman] come up and see me when you are done? Is [redacted woman] with you? Can you please come up here?”

That’s what I thought. They are called SCIFs for a reason. No way eavesdrop, listen in, or transmit in/out of one, unless you’re on a secured line, which I believe has the latest and craziest encryption. Used primarily for the upper echelons, in DoS, CIA and DOD to communicate from around the world. Or, a place to house some of the most classified of materials/investigations.
If he brought a phone in there to take photos of transcripts or something like that, then he should already be sitting next to, Saucier, as I type this.

Uh huh. The stupidity and ARROGANCE of these Leftists is breathtaking, but this text is completely representative. And it isn’t just these two dorks. It runs all the way thorough the American Left from low level Democratic Party functionaries all the way up through all Leftist elected officials up to people like Clinton and, it will be shown, Obama.
This is completely typical of the arrogance and stupidity of these two lovebirds, and demonstrated by the presence of the “potus wants to know everything we’re doing” text messages between Page and Strzok indicates that Obama knew, and should go all the way up to him.
Pretty stupid on his part. Extremely stupid. The POTUS doesn’t really know much about each and every FBI investigation, and could have (and for him, SHOULD have) kept it at an arms distance so he could plead ignorance, but the overwhelming arrogance of thinking he could get away with everything may be his downfall.
See, Leftitsts are too arrogant to realize that when weaving a web, to make one you don’t get caught in yourself, you have to be pretty smart, canny and careful. Leftists are arrogant, stupid, and filled with self-importance. They always think they are the smartest ones in any room.
That may be true in some cases, but they ally themselves with other Leftists who don’t have the capability to be smart, canny, and careful, and doubly damning, lack the humility to understand where they could be fallible (and even the smartest of them lack this)
I am sure that Obama assumed nobody would be STUPID enough to leave a trail, and that he didn’t have to stress that point. So he probably didn’t spell it out for them. Why should he? Everyone with half a brain knows this.

Actually, I was listening to Dan Bongino (former Secret Service) who said that there are ways around it. He sounds to me like he understands the concept...

FBI agents are allowed to bring their phone in a SKIF. They do it all the time. I saw it when I was there.

I can see them allowing FBI issued phones, though I don’t agree with the security practice! (I don’t think there should be any cell phones in a SCIF!) Certainly no personal phones!
I have to go back and re-listen to be sure...he may have said it ‘can probably’ be done, but I have to find the passage.
That said, according to a Daily Caller account I read, it may have been Jim Baker’s SCIF, and they say he was a big buddy of Comey.
I would not be in the least bit surprised to hear that monitoring capabilities are disabled or diminished and the standards are lower in the SCIFS that service the Big Cheeses. I mean, look at the Clintons and their disdain and penchant for just going around it, both Bill Clinton as POTUS and her as Secretary of State.
I bet money they “relax” those SCIF requirements for the Big People.
