Top Senate leaders were working Tuesday to finalize a sweeping long-term budget deal that would include a defense spending boost President Trump has long demanded alongside an increase in domestic programs championed by Democrats.

Will the President veto it if it doesn’t fully fund his wall?
Time to buy lots of gold!
Weimar Republic is coming back!
More Washington Compost bull crap!
Obunghole got a $10T credit Card so Trump can get one for $2 or $3T to get America back on track. Hopefully he pushes to end base line budgeting in his 2nd term!
While the headline on this article focuses on a 2year budget, why do I get the feeling this is just another can kick?
Coming from the compost, the task for them is what phraseology to use to cover the latest kick-the-can - and the use the same’ol same’ol, budget within reach, with 3 days to go... blah, blah.
I see no reason to think that this time is different.
If there are no spending caps then it isn’t a “budget” - it’s a spending plan.
You cannot continue spending a trillion dollars a year of imaginary money forever - eventually the bottom will fall out. It amazes me that today’s youth can’t figure that out. I’m old enough I may or may not be alive when the inevitable happens but the youth of today will certainly experience it and it will make the great depression look like a walk in the part. The economic train is heading for a cliff and the establishment not only refuses to stop it, they are stepping on the gas.
My vote? Cut domestic spending by a lot, and cut military spending a moderate amount. We don’t need more government; we need more freedom.
