Many Americans in the early 1800s believed the Mandan Indians were descended from Welsh explorers led by Prince Madoc around 1170 AD, as so many of them were so light skinned.
I have seen them, starting when I was around 10.
Pretty sure I’ve never been “taken”.
I have been in extremely deep trance several times
and nothing like that ever surfaced.
This despite some “missing time” which evidently had more
to do with the Green Fairy in the Absinthe rather than
the Green Men in the Saucer.
Most of the redheads in my area have brown or blue eyes.
Green is the oddity.
Mine come from, oddly enough, the Welsh part of the family.
My second and third cousins look like me and I don't particularly look like my parents, who were tall, blue eyed, fair skinned blondes to my short, tawny red & green combo.
Another oddity...I tried to learn Gaelic but the glottal stops were an impediment, as is the rhotic R.
So I tried Welsh.
Easy. I'm apparently P Celtic, not Q. :)
I knew that was coming.
:D
I have a shirt that says The Walken Dead with Chris, zombified.
I waved at whomever was piloting the black triangle that floated gracefully above my back yard.
Barry Fell ping
Just like Elizabeth Warren.
Hi! I'm your long-lost distant cousin!
I've read that Thomas Jefferson told Lewis and Clark to not mention any Welsh speaking, light skinned Indians in their report. His fear was that some European power may use that fact as an excuse to claim western portions of what would eventually become the USA. So...the official position of the US government was/is to deny anything Welsh in early America.
We used to have a bronze plaque at Ft Morgan that commerated Prince Madoc's arrival in America in 1170 AD. It was blown down in hurricane Fredric in 1979. It was put into storage and never re-installed.

Local Legend Says Prince Madoc of Wales Discovered America In The Year 1170.
"Were There Welshmen on the Shores of Mobile Bay 300 Years Before Columbus "Discovered" America?"
Evidence suggests, proves nothing. Politically correct science is synonymous with fake science.
Maybe a bit more on the dark tan side, the image reminds me of that hilarious blackface pancake makeup they put on Obama a few times to emphasize his blackness during photo ops.
Ahem. Do you 'mind you P's & Q's'?
And, do you know what that is all about.
BTW, the picture you posted of a Neanderthal boy is claimed to be that of a Modern Human/Neanderthal mix.
The Neanderthal Theory
(Lots and lots of info here.)
And we know he wasn’t just visiting Britain how?
Allegedly grown men who whine about “how little” they are paid to do it.
And then they kneel to show support for a “movement” born of fabrication.
That poster insisted that boycotting the NFL for supporting BLM somehow was supporting BLM.
Just keep that Grant Money flowing....cuz that’s what it’s really all about.
“Alien abductees”
Hey, not my fault and nobody can prove that.
;-)
Read the article in post #1. His descendents are still there.
My father had red hair and blue eyes, my mother was black Irish Very dark auburn hair, dark brown eyes, and dusky skin.
