A Kern County judge on Monday night ruled in favor of the owner Tastries Barkery in a case over refusing to design and bake a cake for a same-sex wedding.

The ruling stated California could not force the Bakery's owner, Cathy Miller, to make cakes that would go against her beliefs.

I hate to say it, but any committed Christian who operates their own business in California is a big fat target for Social Justice Warriors looking to score some points and destroy somebody’s life. This woman needs to leave the state.

Yes. And they will get it. The ruling against them was by a county judge. This will eventually end up in a federal court where the lesbians will win.

Anyway, it’s funny how these gay couples never walk into a devout Muslim’s shop and then ask for stuff.

She is showing that message as if it proves they are a victim. If you read it, I think the message actually sums up the situation quite well.

From now on , for photos of lesbians, can we just use images from Cinemax movies while I am eating breakfast?

That pathetic couple is just looking for a big payday.

They're not going to get it from a small baker. More likely looking for a pound of flesh and publicity.

The whole lesbian population is made up of females who are angry over not being male. Lesbians are male-envy, play-acting women.

Shows they don’t just want a cake. They want to force this lady to make the cake.

I hope this is a sign that the tide is turning. Granted, it’s a county judge in a conservative part of a very liberal state, but I can hope.

Looks like this turned out to be a very smart move .......

Smart, as in self-preserving, but hardly principled. Referring to other providers for service still accommodates the unconscionable.

What if I did not want to defer? Would I have any rights in that position?

Kudos to the judge for defending the Constitution, particularly Section 1 of the 14th Amendment (14A).

Activist judges in pro-LGBT activist states have been wrongly ignoring Section 1 imo.

But what’s worse than activist judges letting states get away with abridging constitutionally enumerated protections is this. Although 14A gives Congress the specific power to strengthen constitutional rights when states abridge those rights, the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration has been stubbornly refusing to do so.

This is why patriots need to finish the job that they started by electing Trump president in 2016.

Patriots need to do this by now making sure that there are plenty of Trump-supporting candidates on the 2018 primary ballots who will protect enumerated rights, and pink-slip incumbents by sending patriot candidate lawmakers to DC on election day.

Also, until the states wake up and repeal 17A, as evidenced by concerns about the integrity of Alabama's special Senate election, patriot candidates need to win elections by a large enough margin to compensate for possible deep state ballot box fraud and associated MSM scare tactics.
