Remember when I too heard this the first time. (This was the first album I ever I bought! and 40 years later I still know all the words. Lol.)

Also remember when I first heard Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. Best group ever! Amazing vocals.

Was born in 67. My formative pop songs growing up were ‘American Pie’, ‘ Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘Beth’, and Jim Croce.

Absolutely! The first time I (really) heard Queen was in a stereo shop. They were playing a Queen cd. It was their music that inspired me to buy a cd player and their (maroon colored) album was my first cd.

My wife and daughter made me wear earphones when I listened to them because I played it sooo loud.

In fact I think I'm going to do just that right now...Glad I saw your post. Thanks
