This guy breifed Trump, then a few months later said it was salacious and unverifiable, and now he’s saying it’s the gospel truth. It’s disturbing to think how much our national security may still be compromised because of his focus on running the FBI in such a political manner. The fact he now teaches “Ethics” at William & Mary would be laughable if it wasn’t true. With his record of deceit, who would trust him them with their dog?

He should only be trusted with stretching a rope...after a fair trial, of course.

I understand the point, but the metaphor is not a good one. My dog is loyal and faithful and would be deeply hurt if I even thought about passing his care to someone else. Trusting someone with my dog would be a very high standard of trust not a low bar.

I wouldn't trust Comey with my pet rattlesnake, if I had one.

The best way to understand Comey is as a medieval court player jockeying for personal position by playing both sides.

He went soft on Hillary. But, then in the last week of the campaign, when the Weiner emails showed up, he “reopened” the investigation, which was seen as a blow against her. Then, a mere 3 or so days later, he closed the investigation because the FBI had reviewed SEVERAL HUNDRED THOUSAND emails and decided they were unimportant.

Meanwhile, he is signing off on these warrants based on dossier evidence he knows is crap.

Then, he shows Trump the dossier, and tells Trump that the FBI doesn’t believe the dossier, and isn’t investigating him. BUT... he won’t say that publicly. It’s no wonder Trump fired him.

At the same time, he’s hedging his bets by releasing classified info to a law professor friend at Columbia with instructions to leak it to the press, hoping (sucessfully) that it will trigger the demand for a special prosecutor, who turns out to be his old friend Mueller. And, he’s claiming after the fact that his communications with his friend are now protected by attorney-client privilege.

This SOB is now teaching ethics and writing a book on ethical leadership.

Major weasel!

Comey was setting the President up. There is a reason why he wrote a memo of conversation after each of his nine meetings with Trump.

If I were the President, I'd be furious...furious enough to fire the guy....because at the time of the briefing...Trump knew there was nothing truthful in the dossier.

Then to make things worse, we find out it was paid for by Hillary's attorney under miscellaneous expenses...($10 million).

Then to make things worse, little Comey runs to his computer and lays out his "feelings" of his meetings with Trump.

And to make things worse, Comey actually leaks this private info to a friend...

And Comey thinks he's some kind of FBI savior of the world.

In hindsight, his running to his computer and any discussions of the meetings with FBI members was nothing more then Comey's personal entrapment plan....And that is how we got Mueller.

Totally did away with the limelight on Hillary...the loser.

Modern etchics courses emphasize and justify situational ethics. Ends justify the means. Class dismissed.
