Adam Schiff, Dianne Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, among seemingly dozens of Democrats, not to mention half the mainstream media, had been warning us for days that the release of the memo authored by Republican members of the House Intelligence Committee would place our national security at grave risk. "Sources and methods" would be revealed.
Now that we have seen the memo, it's clear that was an absolutely bald-faced lie of the most obvious sort. Nothing in it impacts national security in the slightest. There's no mention whatsoever of any "sources and methods."
Unless they were lobotomized, those Democrats and their dependable PR team (aka the media) must have realized they were blatantly lying to the American public. Evidently, they didn't care. How're we now supposed to trust what these people say about anything? Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus.

So what was up here below the surface? It can't just be the "evil party" trying to live up to its nickname, although that certainly happened.
It seems this particular lie was a last line of defense — for now — against a coming potential Armageddon for their party. This memo, bad as it is, is apparently only the first of many, a small percentage of what is to come. And the Democrats know it.
Fear is operative. Maybe panic. An entire weltanschauung is under threat — jobs, friends, self-image, who knows what. If this goes on much longer and much more comes out, some Democrats -—not apparatchik Schiff, needless to say, but others — might have to face reality and say something. A few journalists (not at CNN, but maybe someplace else) might have to report the truth.

I know the FISA courts are secret proceedings, but is anyone asking what sort of judge evaluated this warrant application? Are the proceedings recorded in any way? Are there transcripts of the entire proceedings?
Wouldn't the judge have a responsibility to question the veracity of the assertions made in an application for a warrant? This seems to be another huge area of questions. I wonder if there is anyway to learn the details of those court proceedings?
I have a nagging question as to the simon purity of one or more FISA judges, too. Just suppose the FISA judge on this case KNEW the Warrant Application was based on circular BS, but for disdain of Trump, approved it anyhow....four times?!
Yes, I think by September a few of them will be in jail and my crystal ball says by then - we’ll be on to the subject of democrat voting fraud. <))))

I think Mueller himself sees the handwriting on the wall. This week he asked for a pause and a delay in finishing up with Flynn. He surely sees the whole flimsy house of cards swaying and ready to tumble. S will HTF when Flynn, Manafort, et al, start suing. This whole thing will be a 3 Ring Circus.
Democrats lie, because, well, they’re LEFTISTS. When lying makes sense to achieve one’s goals - or to try to protect people, as in this case, you LIE if you’re a Democrat...and you very rarely will get called on it.

One of the things I’ll never forget from 20 years ago was a PIVOT by Elanor Clift on the McLaughlin Group regarding Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinski.
Prior to the blue dress with the ‘stain’ on it, Elanor was ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED that the accusations were false and it was all a set-up by talk radio and the like. One week later, when DNA showed it to be true - she didn’t admit she was wrong, and she didn’t get mad at Clinton for lying about the affair - rather she simply said that it didn’t affect his ‘job performance’ and therefore who cares.
It was the SPEED of that Pivot that blew my mind. A human being, with normal human emotions would have at least reflected on being a stooge for someone else, if not be really angry about it. But THE CAUSE was so powerful to her, that nothing else mattered, and there was NO WAY she was going to yield an inch to Republicans.
That is who these people are - they’re devoid of normal human qualities. That’s why people like Adam Shiff can SPIN ON A DIME when necessary. To them it’s not lying, it’s competing, and hopefully winning.
Because they knew they could lie. Not only will they go unchallenged, their lies will form the media’s main line of questioning and editorial opinions.
Who’s going to grill them?? Some committee full of RINOs and establishment politicians. And if they do have “hearings” on TV, no one but those who already know the truth would watch. The sheeple will just continue to lap up the media explanations and lies, and then go march around in their pussy hats, wailing about “cheeto-man” being Hitler.
Look at how the media is describing the memo on the crawl-lines, making it sound like Trump is doing something controversial, scary, out on a limb, against FBI warnings ...
I think it's because they are human that they act like this. I have seen the same behavior here on FR.
People who don't care WHAT is right, but only that THEY are right. Even though it has been shown to them that THEY are completely wrong.
I am beginning to think it is the other way around... that the elected democraps are the lap dogs of the unelected media. The democraps are bought and paid for.
