In sketching out a potential path to a bare Democratic House majority of 218 seats out of 435, we found that in all likelihood the Democrats will need to win similar numbers of Republican-held seats won by Hillary Clinton as well as by Donald Trump in the last presidential election. Clinton-won districts are not enough on their own.
Democrats should gain seats, but on the face of the seats currently available to flip, we’re unsure if they can net the 24 seats they need to win control.

I think I was the only one who was close. I had Trump at 286 EVs. I missed PA & WI for Trump, NV & NH for Clinton
Even this liberal hack is admitting that the dems will likely not take the house. That means we are wayyyy ahaed. But trump will need to rally the troops to the polls in november. Key harbinger is the penn special election in march.
Trump has bottomed out already, Republicans are on the rise now almost to even with the Democrats in the polls and so long as all play their hands correctly, unified government will continue into 2020.
