Come on Trump, don't let let this poor choice AG you made sink YOUR reputation with your base. You made a huge mistake. Cut your losses and get a true patriot AG in there before your base sours on you. We want justice.

You would see it if Sessions was doing his job. He is a weak, middle of the road, beltway, same old same old, bore. Trump needs an aggressive, sharp, no nonsense, fearless AG to help him and to help us.

Consider that Sessions hired a slate of lawyers in the DOJ in late December. That was reported here on FR, but essentially came in under the radar. I still have hopes that these new, potentially untainted lawyers, may constitute the "appropriate" parties. We may not need a special counsel.
Well, if Trump was so stupid as to pick Sessions, what makes you think his next choice would be better?
Again, I might be all wrong, but I think we are watching some of the greatest theater the nation has ever seen.

After reading YOURS and the 30 plus other comments so far all I can say is if you want to BELIEVE your own statement then you better be praying it's true 24 hours a day.
Most responses see what I'm seeing. Sessions Justice Dept has NO teeth.
His statement alone sounds like a mother who CANNOT acknowledge that her son could be at fault after being caught in the act.

One way to make honest employees of your staff, is to terminate with extreme prejudice the bad apples. You take a guy that sometimes broke rules and show them discipline, it changes them for the better.
Do you think Sessions is going to say what he really thinks considering the opposition party's influence in the DOJ and FBI.
Things are working out fine--but this is going to take time.
Have a little faith in Trump. He is a good judge of "horseflesh"...and that includes Sessions.
We have no idea what is going on behind the scenes at the FBI and DOJ.
