The House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence today made public a committee memo with information on abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Chairman Nunes issued the following statement:
"The Committee has discovered serious violations of the public trust, and the American people have a right to know when officials in crucial institutions are abusing their authority for political purposes. Our intelligence and law enforcement agencies exist to defend the American people, not to be exploited to target one group on behalf of another. It is my hope that the Committee's actions will shine a light on this alarming series of events so we can make reforms that allow the American people to have full faith and confidence in their governing institutions."

We now know the FISA application omitted material and relevant facts that if known to the court would have resulted in a denial for a warrant. At least that's my big takeaway.

It’s really hard to understand why this wouldn’t immediately end the Mueller investigation. The entire investigation is based on a paid for lie by the Hillary campaign with the complicit cooperation of Obama’s DOJ and FBI...
Does Mueller really plan to get Trump on obstruction of justice... for telling the truth about a lie?
Moreover the larger point beyond Trump is that the FBI and DOJ is so compromised that they would spy on an American citizen for political gain...
Congress should immediately dissolve the Fisa court...for the protection of the American populace.

I am praying that this will be a real opening to draining the swamp which has become exponentially foul in the last 8 years.
The general outline of this conspiracy has been known for months. Details have been lacking, some of which are provided by the memo.
What is missing, of course, are the conversations, notes, emails, messages, and etc that brought about this debacle. Some of this is known. Much of it remains hidden.
That deliberate subterfuge was done against the court and US citizens is made clear. Some of the principals are noted. The underlying documents will seal their fate. What remains is to trace this conspiracy to its head.
