Judicial Watch: 'The FBI is Threatening the President of the United States
CNS News ^ | 2/1/18 | Michael W Chapman

As leading congressional Democrats and certain FBI officials urge President Donald Trump not to release an intelligence memo about alleged FBI malfeasance in the 2016 election, Judicial Watch Director of Research and Intelligence Chris Farrell said, "the FBI is threatening the president of the United States" and "betraying their oath to the Constitution."

Farrell added that the FBI's "criminality" is not isolated to headquarters in Washington, D.C. but is present in many field offices across the country. He specifically cited the office in Elpaso, Texas where, he said, "there's all sorts of abuse by surveillance, of mail cover, of telephone taps [and] of intercepts."

On Lou Dobbs Tonight, Jan. 31, Dobbs asked Farrell why the FBI is suddenly so gung-ho about preventing the release of a memo prepared by the House Intelligence Committee based on FBI and Justice Department documents.

Farrell said, "Let me boil it down, real simple: The FBI is threatening the president of the United States. First of all, they’ve tried to put him in a corner and say, ‘Hey, look, we really don’t want you revealing all the criminality now that’s going on in the organization."

"So they brokered a meeting with the chief of staff, who’s the wrong person to meet with, first of all," said Farrell. "Then, secondly, after this supposed negotiation where the White House gave up its power, gave up its position of authority…. They [FBI] try to intimidate to cover up for their criminality. Then, when they’re all done, they still come out with a statement [on Jan. 31] – when was the last time the FBI came out with a statement on anything, Lou?"

Dobbs replied. “That’s a great point because I still haven’t seen the [full] Benghazi report, we can go through the list. The FBI has been a place where truth goes to die. They are primarily used to cover up [stuff] – it’s under investigation, we can’t answer your questions, we’ll never see you again, thank you very much."

Chris Farrell continued, "When the American public learns what’s going on at the [FBI] headquarters -- let me tell you something, there’s FBI agents or agencies field offices all over the country where similar shenanigans are going on. I’ll point the finger directly at El Paso, Texas. There’s all sorts of abuse of surveillance, of mail cover, of telephone tap, of intercepts. This, unfortunately –”

"Of U.S. citizens?" said Dobbs.

“Correct, correct, things I have personally reported to the Inspector General at the Justice Department," said Farrell.  "They know this stuff. This is the worst-kept secret in the country. They’re terrified. They’re embarrassed, and they’re frantic."

"That’s why you see them issuing this statement," he said, "which attempts to undercut the actions of the chief executive of the United States."

Dobbs interjected, "This is getting to be so ignorant and disrespectful of lawful authority, that is, namely, the head of government, President Donald J. Trump. I can’t believe it’s being tolerated. Where the Hell is the attorney general? Why are they letting this happen?"

"The President of the United States has signature authority to release anything he wants to," said Farrell.  "If he believes in this document and wants it out, why play these weird little patty-cake games with five so-called experts [at the FBI]? The reason why is because they’re afraid or concerned that the FBI’s going to push back hard, or further collaborate with people like [Special Counsel Robert] Mueller to try to attack the legitimacy of this presidency."

"This is another grave threat," he said,  "not just on Mr. Trump personally but it’s a threat on the Constitution. He can’t let this stuff go on.”

When I heard that interview last night, I got chills. We’ve had no idea how bad things were in DC — for decades, I guess.

Tonight there’s desperation on steroids about the memo being released. I hope the entire Trump family is under heavy security — by DJT’s own people. I don’t trust Secret Service, either.

Who can arrest the top people in the FBI and DOJ?

I have heard that in my county the Coroner is the only officer who can arrest the Sheriff. I wonder if there is something similar at the federal level.

Joe DiGenova was just on Tuckers show. He was furious and on a major rant at this nonsense from Wray and Rosenstein. He says he hopes Wray will quit because he is acting like a school brat. He said Trump is their real boss an Trump can fire them whenever he wants.

It would seem that the DoJ could get the Fed Marshals to get FBI perps.

Sessions should also be able to get the FBI or Marshals to get DoJers.

Who would be able to arrest Sessions? Secret Service, I suppose.

the fBI was extremely controversial when it was created, as the consitutional framework of our republic never envisioned a federal govt police force
and there was widespread fear of eventual abuses, and worse
like..... it could be used to install or protect a dictatorship

well, we got Obama and....guess what folks?

Is this a suprise to anyone? Sessions has and will continue to give a free pass to all these criminals. He needs to strat the mass arrests NOW. He has done nothing to help Trump and isn’t about to start now.

Just watched that segment on Tucker! I would urge everyone to watch the rebroadcast later tonight. He ripped the skin of of Rosen$hitball and Wray. He said unequivocaly that both of these feckless “leaders” need to go now!

Conventional ‘put down’ for rabid mammals is a small caliber handgun shot placed equidistant between the eye socket and the ear. One shot per is all it will take.

Howard Hunt played a key role in Watergate. After his actions came under extreme scrutiny, some of the roles he had previously had --like bribing witnesses-- soon befell his wife, Dorothy Hunt.

For this reason her activities, too, soon fell into the interest of the FBI.

In Dec of 1972 Dorothy Hunt was on UA Flight 553 to Chicago O'Hare:

The aircraft inexplicably crashed into 5 houses below, killing 2 on the ground and 43 of the 61 passengers aboard, including Hunt, who the FBI determined had been carrying a large amount of cash when the sudden and inexplicable crash transpired.

Numerous observers noted that the FBI response time for this crash was lightning fast --they entered the control tower and isolated the audio tapes even before the NTSB had arrived.

They also arrived on the crash scene before the NTSB and were first to locate the black boxes.

Does the President run the country, or does the FBI...?

Cuz I think it might be the FBI; the USA might actually be the **FBI's** country, and we simply LIVE in it.

How is Washington DC governed? It's not really a county, right? If it is a county, the county sheriff can arrest ANYONE, from any alphabet soup agency whatsoever. He (the sheriff) is the ultimate legal authority. Technically, when the "suits" come into a county, they have to be invited and operate at the behest of the sheriff.

So research. What does DC have who is equal to a sheriff?
