Fox News’ Tucker Carlson had his favorite liberal Cathy Areu on his show Wednesday to discuss the argument made by one professor that white people who do yoga contribute to white supremacy.
Tucker asked, “So if yoga is racist, is hot yoga more racist or less?”
Areu responded, “All Western yoga is racist, according to this author, according to this professor. All Western yoga. So yoga that is practiced in India has nothing to do with the yoga that is practiced in the Western world.

I agree with the "yoga is racist" proposition only to the extent that much of Western (hatha) yoga is indeed stripped from its philosophical and religious roots. That does not make it "racist" per se, but somewhat distorted or neutered.
It is something like "cafeteria Catholicism," in which bits and pieces of doctrine or morality are accepted, while others are dropped.

Don't see why Carlson is having trouble with this concept.
Apparently the issue is that WHITE people are doing it, so no matter what's being done, it's racist.
Now was that so hard?
