Over a quarter of a century ago, I vividly remember a video scene on cable news: Russian tanks under the command of Boris Yeltsin were firing shells into a building in Moscow occupied by one of the other departments of the Russian government. I remember the holes being blown in the side of the building and bits of masonry falling to the ground.
I have always had a feeling that if <airquotes>civil war</airquotes> were to erupt in the U.S., the form it would take would be an armed conflict between branches of government. E.g., the military and county sheriffs on the side of the public, and the DOJ, IRS and BLM (Bureau of Land Management) on the side of what is now referred to as the Deep State.
What you are describing would have seemed implausible decades ago, but now is a very real possibility. It also reminds me of similar horrors my parents must have watched as Cuba, their homeland, was destroyed by Communism. IT is heartbreaking to watch that same evil, that corruption and wickedness, now trying to destroy our country. This really is a coup being carried out by the Left, which is still as power-hungry and cruel as it was in Cuba, North Korea, China, and the rest. All we have is our prayers and our God, and may He continue to watch over President Trump and all with him, and us.
