The passengers riding in the truck of Oregon refuge occupation spokesman Robert "LaVoy" Finicum on Jan. 26, 2016 have filed their own civil rights lawsuit against the FBI, Harney County sheriff and others, including a federal informant.
It's the second civil suit stemming from the day when FBI and police arrested leaders of the armed takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife refuge......
Cox, Ryan Bundy and singer Victoria Sharp were crouched in the back seat of the truck at the roadblock. Ryan Payne had earlier gotten out of the front passenger seat of the truck when police first stopped it on the highway. They are the four plantiffs listed in this latest lawsuit.
The 18 page complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Portland alleges that they were the victims of an "armed ambush, excessive-force seizure, conspiracy, battery an assault" and seeks a "common law jury" to award damages of up to $1 million per count. It appears the suit has nine counts, although it has question marks and no numbers by the last three allegations listed. The plantiffs are representing themselves.
The complaint also seeks to ensure that the defendants don't hold public office because of their "Bad Behavior" and for "dishonoring" the U.S. Constitution.
Indicted FBI agent W. Joseph Astarita, Greg Bretzing, who was special agent in charge of Oregon's FBI at the time, Harney County Sheriff Dave Ward, Mark McConnell, who was an FBI informant driving Ammon Bundy off the refuge that day, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown, Harney County sheriff's Sgt. Lucas McLain, Harney County sheriff's Lt. Brian Needham and Harney County commissioner Steven Grasty are the defendants named.....

The people suing were shot at both times LaVoy's vehicle was stopped, roughed up, handcuffed and transported in an armored vehicle driven by the two members of the Harney County sheriff's office listed in the suit.
Informant Mark McConnell rode in the police armored vehicle as well and got conrontational amidst all the sorrow over LaVoy's death.
Victoria Sharp was also in the vehicle and needed to get out an relieve herself. The two sheriff's guys wouldn't allow it and she wet her seat in the vehicle.
I hope they win a huge settlement!
“The plantiffs are representing themselves.”
Dumb move.
That could change.
Shawna Cox initiated the lawsuit representing herself.
The fed and state thugs were emboldened during the Obama administration.
The plantiffs are representing themselves.

Yup. But I’m guessing they probably had a difficult time finding an attorney who would take on the case.
The Feds heard the John Dillinger Gang was holed up at a Wisconsin Fishing Lodge.
They wanted to be big heroes, didnt inform local law enforcement, who knew the Lodge well.
They busted in with their .45 cal, fully-automatic Tommy Guns, shooting up the place, killing two civilians with their Al Capone-style machine guns.
Hey, at least they arrested the gang, right..? Nope..!
Some got away, clean.
Whoops..! They ALL got away there was a back exit the Feds didnt know about.
Room service, anyone..?!
The Tommy Gun was made by Thompson, invented in 1918.
This weapon was favored both by Law Enforcement and by gangsters, but why fuss, especially THESE days..?
Fed by 20 or 30-round stick mags, a 50-round drum was also available for the Thompson.
Just hold down the trigger and hose the muzzle around..! In a hotel..?! SURE...!
Hey, there COULD be a bad guy on the other side of that bathroom wall, riiiiight..?
How about some air-conditioning for that balconey, eh? You gotta BADGE...!
The shootout at the Bohemia Lodge was a very early-era Ruby Ridge or Mandalay Bay Massacre, you might say, though the Feds were able to almost totally hush it up.
Feds are shining HEROES = TOTAL B.S.
The photos you just saw are of the era when the FBI was much more law-abiding than they are NOW.

Not very professional. Couldn’t they get a lawyer?
Yep
With the current nonsense at FBI, we keep hearing its only the upper levels that are corrupt.
I have to laugh every time I hear that
Oh yes, who can forget. The FBI shot Finnicum in his side so that he would react, making it appear as though he reached for his sidearm. Then the FBI shot him dead because he “reached for his sidearm”. Oldest Deep State trick in the book.
His clone would be a good one. Do they make em like him anymore?
You got it.
The old saying says that the “crap” runs downhill.
And how does the "common law jury" plan on enforcing their judgement?
That’s the way the news story read but I saw at the end of the actual lawsuit document that the plantiffs are simply seeking a ‘trial by jury’.
“Spence successfully defended Randy Weaver on murder, assault, conspiracy, and gun charges in the Ruby Ridge, Idaho, federal standoff case, by successfully impugning the conduct of the FBI and its crime lab. Spence never called a witness for the defense. He relied only on contradictions and holes in the prosecution’s story.”
Either the county sheriffs or state police killed Finnicum.
