Democrats were thrilled in January 2017 when Department of Justice Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz launched a probe into the DOJ and FBI’s handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation.
Two House Democrats, Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings and Michigan Rep. John Conyers, first requested an IG investigation into the FBI over alleged illegal leaks damaging to Clinton in an Oct. 4 2016 letter.
Horowitz, an Obama appointee, announced his investigation into the FBI and DOJ’s handling of the Clinton probe four months later in January. Cummings praised Horowitz’s decision at the time, saying the investigation was needed to stave off a “crisis of legitimacy” at the FBI.

Do you remember early in the Obama years when basketball black pal KJ (Kevin Johnson), who had gone into politics, was found by the IG to be grafting? They pilloried the IG in court, cast aspersions on his sanity, called him senile. It was an early indication that Obama didn’t give a hoot about the law, only about protecting his chosen buddies.
So, yeah, Horowitz is a pleasant surprise, looks like.
Mueller knows he’s covering for himself when he should have been on Obama and Hillary’s crimes like stink on a Pelosi.
Expect him to manufacture anything he can.
