Hillary Clinton has finally offered an explanation as to why she didn’t fire a top campaign aide over allegations that he sexually harassed a female staffer.
Speaking in a lengthy Facebook post on Tuesday night - which she posted just minutes before President Trump’s State of the Union address - Clinton claimed that she kept Burns Strider on her team in 2008 because she "didn't think firing him was the best solution to the problem."
"He needed to be punished, change his behavior, and understand why his actions were wrong," she wrote. "The young woman needed to be able to thrive and feel safe. I thought both could happen without him losing his job. I believed the punishment was severe and the message to him unambiguous."
Furthermore, Clinton said that she believes "in second chances' - and wants to "continue to believe in them" - despite what others think.

Firing people is not the best solution to the problem ... Bill needs to be punished, change his behavior, and understand why his actions were wrong ... Monica needs to be able to thrive and feel safe ... all this can happen without Bill losing his job ... you Freepers need to continue to believe in Bubba despite what others think ... and you need to stop thinking that I'm as full of sh*t as a Christmas goose!

The fact that Hillary feels a need to issue this second explanation shows just how clueless she is when it comes to politics.
She had to do a second “clarification” for the e-mails too, when the first one fell flat - just like here. She keeps thinking politics is like a court trial, where you can just “correct” the record and everything is fine again.
Why is Hillary worried about her image anyway? She’s got no chance in the 2020 Dem Primaries .... though it will be fun watching her get crushed by real opponents, something she was protected from in 2016.

They have officially run out of power and Herr Clintons (both) have easily verifiable PATTERNS of abuse of women that complete negates their stupid “Me too” pound sign campaign.
A compassionate solution. The victim was spared further stress. The offender, IIRC, was offered counseling.
Now remember, this was some years ago, before the equine therapy that is so benefitting Weiner, Weinstein, and Spacey became well-known. /S
She gets a free pass on this, but if it had been a Republican, there would be unstoppable hypocritical outrage.
