Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS) initiated a massive anti-corruption operation last year. Today, just as a Qatari delegation arrives in DC and concedes to the terms of the alliance, Reuters is reporting the resulting Saudi asset seizures total more than $106 billion.

Qatar was a source of funding for Turkey’s support of the Muslim Brotherhood, and jihadis in Syria. If Qatar pulls back funding, maybe this will put additional drag on Turkey’s failing attack into Kurdish Afrin in Syria - using International jihadi militias as infantry.
Basically, they extended the burn rate of their cash reserves for another year.

Obama gave huge amounts of cash and funding to Iran. Who spends it largely on Terrorism.
And they are hugely behind the Turkish assault of the Kurds.
And Trump does just the opposite. smile.
Now where does Russia fit in here. Surely Putin knows about Jihadi’s. He has them in his nation, and I’ve seen him dispatch those who openly defy or mock him personally. (another story)
