Russia intervened in Syria for two reasons, and it had nothing to do with ISIS, or Christians. They did it because Iran told them to, and to maintain a warm weather port in the Mediterranean.
I did not say it had anything to do with Christians. Nor did I say it had to do with ISIS.
It had to do with their national interest, and Yes that included maintaining that port, which I thought about mentioning, but didn’t.
My focus was commenting on why USA thought toppling yet another middle eastern country was desirable - ie pipeline for Saudi oil.
