We have family there. I love visiting. I don’t know if I could live there, but that’s because I’m a crochety New Englander. :)
Can you explain that comment a bit? I’m seriously considering
moving to Florida and can afford to buy a hone there. Not much of a home but I could buy one.
I am a life long NE guy and have had it with the expenses and the lousy weather.
In fact, if other people far more experienced with Florida want to chine in please do. I’ve bookmarked this thread!

LOL! It could be that a lot of those “Floridians” were actually transplants from other states. I’m (to my personal knowledge) the only Florida cracker living on my street. One of the neighbors on my street (a New Yorker) told me I was a FOREIGNER!
