Okay, I want amnesty for violating a law, such as not having to pay income tax. I want a “bill of love” that would shield me from the IRS.
After all, I work hard and want a better life. And I also have a government documented paper trail from the minute of my birth.
But I don’t vote democrat, so I probably don’t deserve such things.

This may not be the proper post for what is being suggested, but an article by Daniel Greenfield entitled “THIS CIVIL WAR” should be read by all. He gave this speech recently at the South Carolina Tea Party Convention. It would be worth your time reading.
It’s seems we are screwed no matter what, the proposal likely will be rejected by all.
But then, that seems to mean, “chain migration” stays no matter what, that is 800,000-1,000,000 each year it seems to me coming in and possibly legally, that just can’t be turned off like water... people are in the system, in the pipe, for the next 17 years. Add to this the whole birthright issue, lottery and so forth.
And spare me the “I want this, I want this, etc.”, we all do but it does have to be done inside the framework of legislation.

Per campaigning, it seems Trump can now say, “We wanted to build the wall, but everyone can see, the Democrats held it back, I did not renege on my promise”.
If everyone hates the deal, it’s called a compromise.

I have seen no evidence that the President wants a deal, period -- let alone "badly."
President Trump called the bluff on the lazy, feckless jerks in Congress who sat back and let Barack Obama illegally implement the open-borders policy they all wanted so badly. He knows damn well that Congress is not going to grant amnesty to 1.8 million -- or even 18 -- illegal immigrants in an election year when doing such a thing will make them less popular than ISIS in their home districts.
In fact, I'm sure Trump still can't even understand why these @ssholes in Congress care so much about 800,000 or 3 million illegal aliens when they can't even get off their @sses to pass effective legislation for the benefit of 300 million U.S. citizens.

So we get money to build the wall in exchange for offering a “path to citizenship” for dreamers, an end to chain migration and the visa lottery. The path to citizenship is after 12 years and has strict requirements that will filter all but the most deserving. Say 60 - 80% will not meet the requirements.
After the mid-term election, when we (not them) keep the house and pick-up seats in the Senate, we add E-Verify separately.

Fund the wall on a simple PLURALITY vote,
per the Constitution.
Then go back to the FAKE 60 afterwards.
Put a clean anti-chain pro-border bill up for a vote with nothing else in it.
I hope that Trump is studying Reagan when dealing with dhimmicrats.
