We all know that this year’s flu season is bad. I have been pouring over numbers and reports over the past few days, and it’s actually even worse than we’re hearing about. Tens of thousands of Americans are dying. It’s now worse than the 2009 swine flu outbreak and is on track with the 2014-15 strain. And it’s not showing any signs of slowing down.
Despite this, the media is downplaying the severity of the flu and the government makes the statistics pretty difficult to find. Are they trying to avoid a panic? Do they know something we don’t?
Here’s what you need to know about why this year’s flu is so dangerous.
This Year’s Flu Strain Is More Deadly
The dominant Influenza strain this year is H3N2. This particular strain has a history of causing more hospitalizations and more deaths. According to the CDC:
In the past, H3N2-predominant seasons have been associated with more severe illness and higher mortality, especially in older people and young children, relative to H1N1- or B-predominant seasons. Between 1976 and 2007, for example, CDC estimates that an average of 28,909 people died from flu during H3N2 seasons, compared to 10,648 people during non-H3N2 predominant years.
That’s a difference of 18,261 adults each year. And that’s in a good year.
In addition to H3N2 producing a more serious infection in general, this year’s particular H3N2 influenza virus is particularly virulent. The number of deaths due to influenza or complications to the flu, such as pneumonia (a secondary bacterial infection following influenza), varies from year to year.

I’m concerned about taking the Vit k because I’m on Eliquis for afib. I feel stuck but I’ll do the Vit D anyway. I also have Three Thieves vinegar.

Not only did the CDC get the vaccine combo wrong, but giving Vunerable sick, seniors, and children a TRIPPLE vaccine has conquences. I’ve not had a Flu shot since they had the first Double and it gave me the Flu, ended up in the ER over it.
Schools are being closed to de-germ clean them like they do cruise ships after a outbreak of the Norwalk virus.
Which are now being Sued over the “FAKE OPIOID CRISIS”. They are even going after Universities that donors donate to both or have connections to Pig Pharma.

Your testimony is that on coming home from the doctor with flu you took one dose of 50k units of d3 and that alleviated the flu symptoms.
Did I get that right?
I am a fan of D3 and take the 50K units in 7k daily doses during the season.

I’ve been reading articles like this, and praise the Lord wife and I have had zero symptoms. We got the flu shot, it either worked for us, or we are just fortunate.
I asked a VA nurse about the shot, she says each years shot is based on last years flu and will not always be totally effective. To me, this makes sense as they have no way to defend against a strain until it shows itself.
The dosage by individuals is not agreed by physicians because they are simply not aware of the benefits and some may still think it is a fad.
So, it is to Walmart we can turn for guidance.
When Blam first posted about D3, the article noted daily dosage of 2k units were effective in preventing flu in the prison. At the time Walmart sold 1k D3 tablets. Soon however the 1K tablets were beside the new 2k tablets. The 1K tablets disappeared. The tablets were replaced by 2k gel caps.
Eventually some doctors recommended 50k units per week. Walmart then began to sell 5 k gel caps. Today walmart sells 5k gelcaps twin packs (two bottles). Walmart still sells the 2K gell caps.
So 5k +2k = 7 k x 7 days = 49 k per week. that is close to the oft mentioned target of 50 k . Walmart carefully studies customer desires and has learned that people want the 5 k gel caps.
Not necessarily- just trying to avoid implicitly admitting that their sera are just a protected profit scam.
I gat the Flu shot and had 2 rounds of it, my wife did not get the shot and ha2 had 2 rounds of it. MY stepson, grandson, and daughter have all had it. Nasty in Wisconsin
I don’t get and won’t get any of them. I have been taking B=3 supplements for years and have had neither flu or colds since I began. I got a flu shot in 1966 and due to the severe flu that it seems to have given me I have totally eschewed that stupid practice.
It seems they can by the number who received the vaccination and got the flu anyway.
I've threatened for a couple years now to make some elderberry wine but have been just to lazy.
