“Vitamin D and K2 Work in Tandem to Slow Arterial Calcification
Story at-a-glance
Taking vitamin K2 along with vitamin D slowed the progression of arterial calcification, whereas vitamin D alone did not
Vitamin K2 engages in a delicate dance with vitamin D, and you need both in adequate amounts for optimal health
Vitamin D and vitamin K2 work together to produce and activate Matrix GLA Protein (MGP), which congregates around the elastic fibers of your arterial lining, guarding them against calcium crystal formation
If you take oral vitamin D, you need to also consume in your food or take supplemental vitamin K2
By Dr. Mercola
As I’ve discussed on numerous occasions, vitamin D is a critical nutrient for optimal health and is best obtained from sun exposure or a safe tanning bed.
However, many are taking oral vitamin D, which may become problematic unless you’re also getting sufficient amounts of vitamin K2.
Vitamin K2 engages in a delicate dance with vitamin D, and you need both in adequate amounts for optimal health. The importance of this was once again highlighted in a new study
Vitamin D and Vitamin K2 Slow the Progression of Arterial Calcification
The study was designed to compare the effect of oral administration of vitamin K2 (MK-7) plus vitamin D, or vitamin D alone, on the progression of coronary artery calcification score and carotid intima media thickness (the lining of the main arteries in your neck that feed blood to your brain), which are hallmarks of potentially lethal heart disease and stroke.
The data revealed a slower progression of calcification in those taking both vitamin K2 and vitamin D compared to those taking vitamin D alone.1 The studys lead author said:
In this study, the K2 and D protected against cardiovascular calcification, while the D group alone did not. Clearly, this has positive implications for human health.”
This makes sense because whereas vitamin D provides improved bone development by helping you absorb calcium, there is new evidence that vitamin K2 directs the calcium to your skeleton, while preventing it from being deposited where you don’t want it.”

It says if you have the flu you’re gonna die.
Or something like that.
>>NAC enhances cellular levels of glutathione. In short it makes your cell work better and handle the stress of fighting a disease better.

I’ve been taking it for years but forgot exactly why I was taking it : ) Thanks for reminding me. It must also help people with fibromyalgia, as they say that is related to cells not working as well as they should.
>>Since we started doing the vitamin K we havent had any cavities.

“Look Ma, no cavities!” : )
Just an additional note: There are two kinds of Vitamin K2: K2-MK4 and K2-MK7. It’s the K2-MK7 that works well with Vitamin D3.
I think he was playing on words. Notice he wrote: flue, which is the vent that one opens in the fireplace when burning logs there.
I think everyone in NW Florida is currently sick.

Thanks for the link!
In the light of the article's content, the the editors' sidebar is amusing:

“90% of the deaths claimed to be caused by flu had other medical conditions involved.”
That is accurate. Most Flu deaths are people who would have died of something else soon anyways, and the flu pushed them over the edge a few week/months sooner - in most cases not multiple years early.
You are probably right.
FB is probably working off TAF's GP post, which includes the interesting sentence, "It’s a total fallacy to blame the flue for all the deaths that they claim are caused by the flue." Note that TAF spells it 'flu' in the rest of his post.
Similarly, FB's post spells 'flu' as in the disease, except for the first sentence.
However, my bet would be that a higher percentage of deaths caused by faulty flues are correctly attributed than those attributed to the flu. E.g., does a 54-year-old die of the flu? Or something the 54-year-old would have died of relatively soon, anyway?
It is true that the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning resemble those of the flu. The main differences: The flu causes fever, CO does not. And CO causes death usually (or we wouldn't hear about it), flu usually not.
Your Dad would likely be better off without doctors, or at least main stream docs. Look into naturopathy. Also look into making your own colloidal silver, the most powerful antibacterial, antiviral natural substance. (see ebay)
Boggy man
Health/life BUMP!
Thanks
I sit here with my tin foil hat on and say that those in the globalist camp and the WHO cannot be counted out of this. By any means necessary, a military tactic of the British were to hand out to the American Indians blankets from small pox victims

A posting like this cheapens Freerepublic. The uninformed are always around, even here.
