They are segregating people they are segregating products. They segregate and lock up all products with a high theft rate.

That is exactly what Walmart does.

My cousin runs a company that does the Meta Data for several large big box retailers. They check the shrinkage rates for products based on SKU numbers and that is why products are locked up. As the loss rate hits a certain percentage, it is unprofitable to carry these products. So instead of eliminating them from the aisles, they lock them up.

Be like protecting the store, from “shrinkage,” etc.

According to Madame Google, two of the top four categories of inventory shrinkage, are employee theft, and shoplifting.

Most grocery stores lock up baby formula. I guess that is racist as well.

And Anti-Baby!

I don’t think the “taggers” buy much of their paint either.

I was in a Walmart in New Mexico near an Indian reservation where literally everything was locked up. This was not to target the Indians, but just to protect the Walmart inventory.

And then I tried to buy a bottle of wine...that was hellacious, because when I saw the display, I didn’t realize that basically nobody was allowed to get anywhere near the alcohol. You had to pass through a little gate and go up one by one to request some crummy bottle of wine.

Was it demeaning? Yes, and I never went back there again. I had only gone there because it was on my route, stayed open late, and I was headed to my hotel but the hotel didn’t have a café and I wanted a glass of wine. However, it wasn’t racist, it was simply an acknowledgement of the conditions.

Was it in the back of the store?

No, it was in the regular place near the pharmacy. They just built a fence around the hair care aisles and put in a gate with a cashier.

They used to put a dye in some laundry detergents that would fluoresce under UV, to make them seem "brighter" in sunshine. Don't know if they still do.

Here is something I've found. Front loading washers don't seem to rinse as well as top loaders. I run my clothes thru an extra full cycle with cold water, and ALWAYS get suds in the 2nd rinse. Mind you, that's while using the recommended amount on the first load. Probably less than 2 oz.

Since 99% of home laundries pump the waste water straight into the sewer, you don't see the dump. Mine happens to go into the deep sink, first, which is where I noticed it...

It's an engineer thing, I suppose, Or, I'm autisic...

My washer dumps into a wash tub and then a sump. I see it all.

My wife uses about 3x the necessary soap. (depends of water softness, load size, dirt level, etc.)

It’s a bad subject to bring up...

My ex got all huffy if I questioned her laundry skills. She couldn't keep a clean house, or a budget, but she was hell on laundry.
