Yeah, I’ve heard the pitch too (my mom’s doctor). Goes something like this “is it ok if we beat you to death with this lead pipe? Ok, we won’t do that but everything up to that”
Yep, that is EXACTLY the way they do it. I believe they take classes to teach them to talk like that to them. But in a very nice way so it is fit right in every so sneaky with simple non-consequential questions.
