Waters, one of Trump’s most vocal critics, will appear on “Angela Rye’s State of the Union” on BET, according to BuzzFeed News.
Rye, a Democratic strategist and commentator, is set to produce quarterly news programs for the network focused on issues affecting black Americans.
A spokesperson for BET told BuzzFeed that activists and other elected officials will join Waters to discuss the first year of the Trump presidency following his speech, and will discuss “building black politics and the value of engagement across today’s socio-political landscape.
Waters, who is one of several Democratic lawmakers who have said they will not attend Trump's speech on Tuesday, has consistently criticized Trump throughout his presidency, repeatedly calling for his impeachment.

I think she’s doing this on her own, because the “official response” is coming from Patrick Kennedy III. My guess is that they dug him up because he’s only 37, unlike 90% of the rest of the RAT Party, and he’s a Kennedy, whatever that’s worth today.
Maxine git a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Cal State LA in the 60’s, when they supposedly had standards. Let that sink in.

While Waters will be delivering an address Tuesday night after Trump's speech, Democratic rising star Rep. Joe Kennedy (D-Mass.) is set to give the party’s official response to the State of the Union, party officials announced this week. That speech is also televised.

Trotting out this old race-baiter certainly signals the Dems have given up on the white working-class vote permanently. They’ll run the 24/7/365 anti-Trump propaganda mill to sway white women, Hispanics, and Asians to their cause, but as far as working white men - the Dems have made it very clear they are persona non grata - not just in the Dem party, but in this country.
Quite honestly since I am big on humor I think I would be more inclined to listen to the cyclops Waters than Trump as I am always looking for a laugh. I realize blacks are 30 percent of the Dem party, their biggest constituent identity group but this race baiting ignorant corrupt clown has a tendency to turn off the other Dem constituent groups including hispanics, Asians and the miniscule number in that party with half a brain.
The white power structure of the Democrat Party knows Maxine is a damn fool but she keeps her “people” in line with the party, so no harm no foul to them. She’s a useful idiot!
