The U.S. is still on schedule to meet its obligations under the Paris Climate Agreement despite its decision to pull out of the accord, Gore said Thursday

"Several governors of our largest states, hundreds of cities and thousands of U.S. businesses are now ensuring that the U.S. will not only meet but exceed the commitments it made under the Paris Agreement," Gore, who was speaking on a panel at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, said Thursday.

Under the agreement, reached at the end of 2015, world leaders committed to making sure global warming stays "well below" two degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels, and to pursue efforts to limit the temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

And businesses will flee those states and cities that adopt the Paris BS for friendlier and saner business locations.

I see Algore is still lining his pockets with this global warming / climate change bullcrap.

Hey, Jerkwad! We have no obligations under an agreement we're not part of!

Apparently, Gore and Kerry are taking turns as self-appointed Secretaries of State. Could someone please read these two clowns the Logan Act.

I thought only the federal government could make treaties with foreign powers? Al Gore and states are going to make treaties with foreign powers? Under what authority?

The article said that states and cities will fess up the money.

Since most of the above are struggling of failing fiscally, I’d say the man was delusional.

IOW, we didn’t need the Paris agreement just like we didn’t need Kyoto. The purpose of both was to steal our money, anyway.

Arizona can’t enforce US immigration law, but California can enforce European climate treaties? I don’t think so. The feds have control of interstate commerce, and I think climate reaches across state lines.

Al, you should lead by example...sell all your homes, your boat, your cars and jet. Sell all your clothes and wear a flour sack...

when you do that, and the others follow you, then I might believe it...

Wow!

This evidently means that the governors of largest states are going to cough up more than the $100 billion of US taxpayer dollars that Obama had annually committed to the Paris Accord. /sarc

I’m impressed.
