After 10 months of leading the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation, counterintelligence official Peter Strzok had not seen compelling evidence that President Trump or high-level campaign officials colluded with the Russian government, according to a person familiar with his thinking.
That account comports with a May 19, 2017 text exchange between Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page that was released earlier this week.
“You and I both know the odds are nothing. If I thought it was likely, I’d be there no question. I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern that there’s no big there there,” Strzok wrote to Page, his mistress.
Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, disclosed the “jaw-dropping” text earlier this week. He said that the message suggested that the FBI investigators had seen no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.
It was unclear exactly what Strzok meant by the message, but the source close to Strzok affirmed that interpretation of the exchange to The Daily Caller.

A 302 is what the FBI writes when they interview some perp or witness.
They don’t audio record.
Typically there are two FBI scumbags, one asks questions and the other uses his/her pen to lie about what was heard, what transpired in the interview.
The thought had crossed my mind. What if Strzok wasn't fired for his partisan texting with his paramour, but because he had ceased to be a true believer?

This is the letter from OIG Horowitz to Grassley and Johnson explaining how Strzok and Page were found out. Note in the body of the text, they will refer to SC any criminal matter they find upon completion of their review.
I don't know for sure, but it's likely that "Jim" is James Baker, at the time FBI General Counsel and Page's boss. The others may be lawyers at the FBI.
In December, Baker was "reassigned" at the FBI. It's widely suspected that he leaked the dossier to Mother Jones in October 2016.

Horowitz is at the DOJ, and these texts seem to deal with interoffice gossip at the FBI, so I doubt that "Mike" is IG Horowitz.
Well, maybe she has other, uh, . . . talents.
The longer Sessions waits to appoint a special counsel to investigate the DOJ/FBI/IC wrongdoing, the more time the wrongdoers have to legally dispose of incriminating evidence.
A special counsel would have already begun flipping Strzok and Page.
What is Sessions’ problem? I guess he was not the person we thought he was.
imho i do think it would be well to hold off criticism before any official findings of criminality, for reasons such as this.
HOW does a Government employee, Strzok, AFFORD a Suoer Expensive Clinton Lawyer like David Boies???? WHO US PAYING THE BILLS??
No telling what she can do when Peter puts peanut butter under her lip like Hollywood used to do with Mr. Ed.

Does Peter want to cut a deal? Perhaps.
Hillary was just a tool for the people behind Obama-Jarrett, and she couldn’t even win a rigged election.
She’s been tossed away. She had neither the wit nor the means to run an operation of this size.
As I have said many times before, Strzok, Page, Comey, and Mueller are career bureaucrats who would never, ever make a decision unless forced to and whose prime directive, as always, is CYA.
It is IMPOSSIBLE that individuals of this type would take it upon themselves to do the things they have done.
The coup will not be over until the person or persons who ordererd them to do these things are identified and either brought to justice (if possible) or neutralized (if not possible).
Obama is just a tool for Jarrett and Iran/muslim infiltrators.
Obama is as bad or worse- if possible- then Hillary
Been thinking about this very thing, and my guess is that Peter and Lisa have agreed to the release of these texts as proof of their cooperation with the IG investigation. Another clue is that these two both still have jobs, rather than being under arrest. And if nothing else, these texts are proof of how much they liked to talk.
