After 10 months of leading the FBIs Trump-Russia investigation, counterintelligence official Peter Strzok had not seen compelling evidence that President Trump or high-level campaign officials colluded with the Russian government, according to a person familiar with his thinking.
That account comports with a May 19, 2017 text exchange between Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page that was released earlier this week.
You and I both know the odds are nothing. If I thought it was likely, Id be there no question. I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern that theres no big there there, Strzok wrote to Page, his mistress.
Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, disclosed the jaw-dropping text earlier this week. He said that the message suggested that the FBI investigators had seen no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.
It was unclear exactly what Strzok meant by the message, but the source close to Strzok affirmed that interpretation of the exchange to The Daily Caller.

Then ask yourself, why Rosenstein was so quick to appoint Mueller? Over firing Comey? Rosenstein recommended the firing in writing. So then.
Maybe that’s why Mueller fired him.
And that should be grounds for Mueller to stop the witch Hunt.
I can easily imagine that being so.
She sure has!
Or throw a shoe.
And people like Strzok and Page probably got the promotions, while the straight arrow types got passed up.
I would think the good guys at the FBI are pissed.
“If there was any evidence of collusion, Obama would have had it leaked before the election.”
You mean, “...evidence of collusion between TRUMP AND RUSSIA collusion...”? Long before the election, Obama knew Russia was up to something, but he never said ONE WORD. Probably because he was confident that Russia was helping Hillary.
And the Clinton lawyer will suggest all attorney-client meetings are held at night in Ft Marcy Park...
Doubt that an old mare would qualify for the Belmont... ;)
Speaking of horses, is there any text from Strzok indicating he always wore blinders when they hooked up? Because otherwise I don’t get it. I guess he was too caught up in thinking he was James Bond to notice her looks.
During their kinky bedroom adventures, she insisted on calling him, “Willllburrrrr”.
Who are Jim, Trisha, Dave, and Mike in the Strzok text?
They openly text back and forth about this kind of corruption.
Incredible they work for the FBI and never thought they’d get caught ?
Isn’t this how the FBI nabs crimminals, and they still did it. ?
Two years into the investigation and they still dont have enough evidence to get a warrant of any kind.
Wow. This is a big deal. It’s almost as though one is reading a text between people running a political campaign. ..
He’s not exactly a stud.
Kind of has a little Frank Burns thing going.
