Wynn Resorts stock dropped 6 percent in trading Friday after The Wall Street Journal reported allegations of sexual misconduct by billionaire CEO Steve Wynn over many years.
Dozens of people who worked at Wynn's casinos say his behavior created a pattern of sexual misconduct, according to the report, with some describing employees being pressured into performing sex acts with Wynn.
Wynn would regularly have manicures, makeup applications and massages performed at his office at the Wynn resort in Las Vegas, according to the WSJ. Former employees of Wynn say they would schedule fake appointments for female workers to avoid requests for those services, the report says.
A manicurist who worked at Wynn's flagship casino recounted an incident with Wynn in 2005, telling the WSJ that he forced her to have sex at his office. Colleagues recounted her returning to the on-site salon visibly distressed, the report says, and she told others Wynn pressured her to take her clothes off and lie on the massage table kept at his office. Those people she told about the incident recounted to the WSJ that the manicurist did not want to have sex with Wynn, but said he was persistent in his demands.
The WSJ contacted over 150 current and former employees of Wynn. The majority of those who spoke worried that talking to the media would hurt their job opportunities, citing Wynn's vast and powerful influence throughout Nevada and the casino industry.

Sorry to be so very chauvinistic here, but the reality is, Steve Wynn would not have had to “pressure” any woman into sex.
There are hundreds of beautiful Topless Showgirls, Keno Girls, High Stakes Table Dealers, Bar Waitresses, and others who would have been very aggressive in their sexual pursuit of Steve Wynn, or any other casino owner, or in fact, major businessman, and their moeny in those days... and now as well.
I am not in any way condoning sexual misconduct, but sex, with both men and women as the instigators, with the hope of personal or business advancement, is universal in every business, country and culture, and always has been.

Exactly! I have had waitresses in Vegas hint at wanting to have sex with me simply because I gambled and won fairly big at the tables. The place is saturated with sex and there is zero doubt in my mind that that translates to the boardroom, too.
They had some bad blood in the past, don’t know the details... this is what I have heard from Las Vegas residents and my connections at the MGM. As of this coming Monday I’ll be a resident too assuming closing on my new house there goes as planned.
