Interesting. I don’t see the name of the law firm that hired him anywhere in the story or the press release. Did I just miss it?

Jeffrey Wertkin is a bit of a favorite here at Above the Law, as his story really has all the trappings of a classic. Afterall, he was a partner at Biglaw giant Akin Gump at the time of his arrest on charges that he tried to sell a whistleblower complaint to the targeted company while wearing a disguise, which included a wig. That’s a pretty spectacular story any way you slice it, but then he allegedly told the arresting agent, “My life is over.” Instant classic.

“Only 37 months for this dirt bag. He was a member of the bar, he put peoples livelyhoods and perhaps their well being in danger and he skates with a plea deal? BS.”

Wertkin, Weinstein, Rosenstein, Feinstein, Schiff, Steyer, just the same kettle of Gefilte fish. Secular Progressive Jews working to enrich themselves simultaneously while screwing our country.
