WASHINGTON Rep. Joe Kennedy III of Massachusetts will deliver the Democratic response to President Donald Trumps State of the Union address next week.
House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer made the announcement in a statement Thursday night. They say Kennedy is a relentless fighter for working Americans. The 37-year-old Kennedy is serving his third term in the House.

Not only that, how is he going to rebuke Trump with an economy through the roof and unemployment low as hell? “Um...we need a worse economy and no jobs”...He’s going to come across as an ass and of course the media will praise him because he’s party of the Kennedy crime family.
Would like to know what became of the Chappaquiddick movie, which I read about (probably here on FR) a month or two ago. I meant to look it up and find out what kind of distribution it was able to get. I expected close to zero exposure, in a very few theaters. and intend to look up the box office figs right now, now that ya mention it....
Looked it up and saw that the producers intended to release it around Thanksgiving, but decided against it. The new release date is April 18-—not familiar with lead actor, but some very good and reputable people in the cast-—Bruce Dern, Kate Mara, and oddly, comedian Jim Gaffigan. I don’t think even any advance “reviews” yet from anyone who might have seen a screening.
So we are leaving the Obama’s and the Clinton and going back to the 60’s and 70’s?
Doesn’t matter! I turn off the TV after the president speaks anyway. I learned a long time ago that the opposite party’s response was a rebuttal of what the president just said. Who wants to listen to that except a brain-dead liberal?
This Kennedy is whiter than a KKK sheet worn by democrats just a few years ago.

Timor Leste used to be East Timor, I guess.
I remember the Commies being all agitated about East Timor back when I was at Berkeley.
Lol. Yes, the Kennedys are such role models for working Americans
Next up will be the Obamas tooting their horns for nonworking Americans
Who thrived during 2009-2016
....because the Kennedy men are such feminists.....
His brother might be running for Senate in Connecticut (or cousin, can’t keep them apart). He is a state representative from Branford.
That is why Oprah declared she didn’t have the right DNA.
Having had the presidential entourage at her Maui estate over several weeks, she kinda gets that fact, which is held under more extreme pressures than most of us could ever imagine. You can’t get there just because you claim the long arc of your meteoric rise from humble black beginnings should matter.
Do look for Mark Sugar-Mountain (oh, you know, all those IC folks—like Barry—have more than one name) to attempt to claim his prize here, as long as King Arthur hasn’t yet ascended his throne.
It’s the only thing Demonrats know how to do. Buttcrack Hussein had his administration packed full of ex-Clintonites because he didn’t have enough cronies and know enough domestic terrorists to possibly fill all the positions. With Hussein making his forced exit, they defaulted to the last failed Democrap (or in this case, his scumbag wife that bought a New York election). It’s all they can do. Bernie was popular with the kids but the power players were never going to let him in, he would’ve died in his first term anyway. He can’t speak publicly without his blood pressure going up 30 points and looking like he’s ready to die.
How hammered to you have to be to be unable to hold the wheel straight over a bridge? There’s drunk, there’s frat-boy drunk, and then there’s Kennedy-drunk.
Re: Dynasties - the Adamses were OK
The Kennedys can’t skipper a boat, drive an Oldsmobile, fly a plane, or ski down a hill, but we should listen to them?
Are you sure he's a Kennedy?
I think he's gone beyond white to albino.
Maybe Carrot Top was unavailable.
I was devastated to see this thread because I swear a co-worker told me that Maxine was doing the rebuttal today. I am now very disappointed. Was I the only one who looked forward to hearing her rebuttal? Seriously..... I would have watched it.
This one..... meh
Maxine with a national audience?
Ah, what might have been!
