I am fine with giving amnesty for true DACA qualifiers. Offer them legal status, just not citizenship. All the while getting $25 billion for a wall ? Heck yeah.

The way I see it is like it or not, the DACA recipients will be given legal status either under Trump, or a future administration. If Trump is able to leverage the inevitable regarding DACA into meaningful changes in immigration law as proposed, it is a smart play.

I’m not freaking out over a couple million people that aren’t going to be deported anyway. I will be ecstatic if we can stop chain migration, lottery visas from sh!t hole countries, and stop this insane asylum claim process that takes years to deport illegals.

That will never survive a court challenge. If the 'dreamers' are granted amnesty, they're going to become naturalized U.S. citizens, period.

An earlier proposal would have given them renewable three year visas. That arrangement was fair, and would satisfy your position on the matter.
