If I put a bumper sticker on my car during election time it’s on a piece of magnetic backing.
When I anywhere I have to park it a while I pull it off and put it inside the trunk.
No matter what kind of sticker you put on your vehicle, you’re bound to antagonize some portion of the population, so I have never put a sticker of any kind on my pickup truck.
However, several years ago I put a Disabled Veteran license plate on my pickup truck and immediately noticed a change in traffic around me. Vehicles will now come and tailgate me inches from my bumper and blow their horn if they think I’m not driving fast enough, and there are those who will now cut me off in traffic. This never happened before I put the DV plate on my truck, and I think they’re probably doing it just because they assume I won’t chase them down and kick their asses now that they see I’m disabled.
Exactly my strategy as well. Otherwise, one might find an example of liberalism left on your car when you come back from shopping at the grocery store (aka a big long key scratch down the length of your car). Yep, real tolerant those folks.
This reminds me though, I have a magnetic Trump16 bumper sticker still in my trunk. I may slap it back on for the drive home tonight, explode some heads on the Capital Beltway.
Then of course, take it right off again when I park at home for the reason stated above.
