Is she ever-it was like a train wreck you just can’t look away from-and about 10 minutes into her speech I was wondering what people were thinking to put this lunatic on the bench...

Exactly how many of the ONE HUNDRED FIFTY heart wrenching testimonies of horrible sexual childhood abuse did you listen to???

Your callousness and attempt to shift blame nauseate me

I’m guessing now she completely blew the trial. His lawyers will be having a field day over it.

I feel sorry for the posters on this thread to think otherwise.

A judge should be impartial, unemotional, and speak only to the law. Any judge who adds their own feeling, emotion, anger or political ambition to a judgement is unfit for the bench. That's what liberals do. So she hates child molesters - but what if she hated conservatives instead? Judges don't make law. They simply apply it. Thank God you are not a judge, because you would be an awful one.

Wow, he abused 150 girls? With such high numbers of victims, clearly a serial abuser, who should never see the light of day.

He also received 60 years for child pornography. I believe some 30,000 images were found on his computer and while it wasn't stated as a mater of record, it is widely believed that many of the girls he had nude images of were the very same young gymnasts he was treating and these images have now found their way into circulation among other pedophiles. The girls will now go through life believing there's a good chance that naked pics of them are out there on the web.

The girls he sexually abused were not “small children”-but they were children-and I want to know what in the hell their parents were thinking-you know good and well that at least a few of these girls said something to mom or dad and apparently didn’t get listened to-that is what is disgusting.

He got what he deserved-he does not deserve to have the ammo for an appeal and that is exactly what that judge likely gave him with her making it all about her instead of just doing what judges are supposed to do.

Yep, I think the victims expressed their anger and rightfully so. The judge just needed to give him the maximum.

Sir your an idiot.

Judges are to be Impartial to the application of the law.

NOT to the credulity and barbarity of the case.

There is not ONE judge who does not ‘feel’ ....and have the right to ‘their say’...

.... I may be an awful judge according to you… But you’re proving yourself to be an awful human being

Sir your an idiot.

You are revealing yourself. People apply government and low on emotion are fascists in the making. Plenty of judges have emotional dislike for Christians, "RevelationDavid." Let's hope you never face one in court.

As a professional case manager, I have listened to plenty of “wrenching stories” from women-and men-of all ages concerning abuse, so don’t presume to lecture me on empathy with victims. In this profession, a harangue like that judge’s will get one fired for injecting personal issues into a client’s therapy, period-it is utterly unprofessional and unacceptable.

You’re entitled to your opinion-but so are the rest of us here, as well.

Her antics reminded me of Roland Freisler.

Compare and contrast with the behavior of the judges at Nuremberg.

That is the sad part-the sorry bastard got just what he deserved-but now thanks to that judge’s posturing, he will likely get an appeal and not have to serve that time if he wins-at the least he may get the sentence reduced to something that is comparable to a slap on the wrist for his atrocities.

LOOK AT THIS !!!!!

"Doctor" Larry Nassar, convicted sex pervert, lives in Michigan, a state flooded with Muslims. Dearborn has the largest concentration of Muslims in the country.

The name "Nassar" is Arabic...and means "granter of victory".

He married a Catholic woman and converted.

Prior religious connection or ideology unknown as yet.

That's all the detail I could find at the moment.

I wonder how safe he will be in prison. We have a moral responsibility to house criminals safely, but we also have a moral responsibility to remove dangerous and evil predators like this from our world. I suspect the convicts behind bars will find even 175 years too lenient.
