Flynn kept FBI interview concealed from White House, Trump
NBC "News" ^ | January 24, 2018 | by CAROL E. LEE

WASHINGTON — A year ago today, President Donald Trump’s newly sworn–in national security adviser, Michael Flynn, met privately in his West Wing office with FBI investigators interested in his communications with Russia's ambassador, without a lawyer or the knowledge of the president and other top White House officials, according to people familiar with the matter.

Flynn's FBI interview on Jan. 24, 2017, set in motion an extraordinary sequence of events unparalleled for the first year of a U.S. presidency. Flynn was fired as national security adviser after 24 days on the job, the acting attorney general was fired 10 days after the president took office, the FBI director was allegedly pressured by the president to let go of an investigation into Flynn, and then eventually fired himself.

Oh my, and I bet all of this in the incorruptible spirit of the 1960s TV show, eh?

Uhm, because Stroke lied about the nature and content of the proposed meeting, and Flynn was blindsided the moment Stroke started to speak

Mueller will need to do something to salvage his investigation... Given the revelations coming out about the FBI, his resignation should have been submitted by now. That hasn’t happened so you can only assume he’s all in for a fight to the death on his investigation.

Indictments will be forthcoming to stem the criticism. Probably even one of those infamous and secretive ‘sealed’ indictments to make it all look more salacious.

Still Flynn was stupid to not have his lawyer present.....he should have immediately called his lawyer and ask if it was right just to have a causal conversation about his phone call to the ambassador with an FBI official

I am hoping that Flynn moves to withdraw his guilty plea at the appropriate time, such as after the IG or House 4-page reports are released. On the false statement charge, there is no way that Mueller can put Strzok on the stand as a witness against Mueller, so that leave just one agent to testify against him, with plenty of material to attack the prosecution with. Of course, he can then be charged with other crimes. I understand he will go broke and they have threatened his son but if he can muster the strength to do it, it would be great.

From my understanding, this whole affair wasn’t even a formal INTERVIEW. Some hack from the BI showed up and sat down with General Flynn either in an office or at a restaurant or something and they had a CONVERSATION.

Unbeknownst (whether Flynn should’ve known the rules regarding this I will leave to wiser people) to him, the agent from the Bureau was waiting to catch Flynn in a misstatement. And he (apparently) did catch him.

Thus Flynn, because he in a conversation with an FBI guy/gal said something wrong, he was chased by the Special Counsel for lying to the FBI.

Now, if I am wrong, someone correct my memory. But I DO recall hearing that this was how they caught Flynn up in the nonsense.

Now, as to the headline of the story: Flynn has LOTS of conversations with lots of people (as does anyone in a position of power). “Concealing” the FBI “interview” is in the eye of the beholder, if indeed it wasn’t a real INTERVIEW and merely a conversation.

Am I off base here? I happen to agree with Trump that Flynn is a good man.

Riiiiight— Flynn’s meeting with FBI people was not known to the Executive who appointed him....sure. By the time this was happening Trump had been advised by Adm. Rogers (the week after the election) of the FISA abuse and the criminal deep state surveillance of Trump— all revealed in the April 17,2017 cleared FISC ruling on the abuses of false FISA warrant application (Rogers informed President elect Trump of this- and Clapper, Comey,Brennan and Rice all HOWLED publicly for Rogers to be fired by obamaumao since their a@@es were all hanging out- and, still are), and right after that moved to Bedford,NJ club for his transition team and interviews.

So, Flynn met with the FBI in his WH office.. and the entire thing was recorded by WH system. So— it has ALL been known by Trump since then, including the bastards setting Flynn up— and Sessions. This is NOT over. Including the removal of Flynn’s plea because of coercion under false evidence.

Perhaps so, but, under normal terms of his job— calling the Ambassador— ANY ambassador was perfectly within the scope and NOT subject to any second guessing. Apparently guessed because of a secret investigation based on false evidence and action by the corrupt FBI.

In post Batista Cuba— they didn’t ask questions- they just had Che’ shoot them in the head. The “Silent Coup” methods exposed here for the whole world to see. They only later considered the use of assassination- or so it is rumored. Lovely people these scum.

Mike Flynn comes across as one of the dumbest people ever to set foot in Washington, D.C.

And that's really saying a lot, for sure.

If that scenario played out as you described, then Flynn never would have copped a plea on a charge of lying to the FBI.

The "conversation" you describe didn't even include a basic reading of Flynn's Miranda rights, which means it wouldn't even stand up as evidence in "The People's Court" on TV.

Including the removal of Flynn’s plea because of coercion under false evidence.

It's been more than six weeks since Flynn's plea was announced, and still no sentence hearing scheduled. And the judge has been recused.

Something doesn't sound right. I hope you're right that the plea is being withdrawn.

Unless Flynn had studied how to trap the FBI and bring down the deep state and didn’t want his boss knowing about it for deniability purposes.

Really, would we know anything we do now if Mueller hadn’t jumped in?

No judge, reassigned or whatever (since Contreras sits on thes duty roster of FISA court, and was recused or recused himself because he MAY have accepted the FISA warrant put on Flynn)— will adjudicate a plea that is possibly “fruit of the poisoned tree”— even if such a judgement and sentence could NOT be appealed since it is a guilty plea. l

The FISC decision that Dan Coats, DNI de-classified and released in April 2017, exposes the false data warrants submitted and the “upstream queries” that can no longer be made. It was the “upstream queries” that enabled their illegal surveillance of a US citizen, Mr. Flynn- doing his job. A case made by some real gestapo tactics.

This should all unravel, and be reversed in a fair world.

Might add, there is new information on the sting on Flynn regarding Turkey— the ostensible reason of his “lying to Pence” that got him fired early in the early fog of war of Trump’s forming admin.

Thinking the “state” (and Priebus, lest we forget) had pals ready to step up— namely McMaster (since the former SEAL commander refused to leave the ME and his “contacts” there, being the good dhimocrat of the Qatari machine that he was/is felt to be).

Yeah, dumb: Graduate of the Military Intelligence Officer Basic Course, Ranger School, Military Intelligence Officer Advanced Course, Army Command and General Staff College, the School of Advanced Military Studies,
and Naval War College.

U.S. Army
2010 served under snake-eater Stanley McChrystal in Afghanistan Multiple tours at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, with the 82nd Airborne Division, XVIII Airborne Corps, and Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC)deployed for the invasion of Grenada and Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti. Also, 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, and at the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, Louisiana, and Army Intelligence Center at Fort Huachuca, Arizona (SIGINT, and our Drone Center).Director of Intelligence at Joint Task Force 180 in Afghanistan until July 2002. He commanded the 111th Military Intelligence Brigade from June 2002 to June 2004[4] and Director of Intelligence for Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC)from July 2004 to June 2007, with service in Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom) and the Iraq War (Operation Iraqi Freedom). Director of intelligence US Central Command (MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL).
Finally, Director- The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).

Yeah, dumb. And loyal patriot, who long ago would have been weeded out, even by obamaumao (who got rid of Mcchrystal, by an article in Rolling Stone, as well as legions of other non-obamaumao commanders who were a threat to his “rule”)

Think your key words are “comes across as....” which is what propagandists, and the Deep State agents in place have created. Stay tuned.

Which is what?— since we are not privy to Mueller’s put up job and tactics. Hes’ got Manafort, and Gates and Flynn.... but NOOOOO Russians (ie. his “commission” from secret 12 Rosenstein usurpation following setting up Sessions to recuse). These people are weasels- at least winter weasels can be worn as fine fur sable coats.

Trump is fortunately uniquely in the position to refuse any questions from this torquemada loon, trying to stay out of prison himself for uranium kickback payments. Possibly the only hold there is on him in the compartmentation.
