Chief of Staff To James Comey & Christopher Wray OUT At FBI

Fox News reports:

Federal law enforcement sources told Fox News that Rybicki was not fired. His departure, they said, has “been in the works for awhile.”

“Jim Rybicki notified me last month that he will be leaving the FBI to accept an opportunity in the corporate sector,” Wray said in a statement. “While this is an exciting move for the whole Rybicki family, Jim will be dearly missed by the FBI family – and by me personally.”

Wray added: “His many years of dedication to the bureau and DOJ, his level-headed judgement and earnest professionalism, and his steady good cheer have been an asset to us all and have contributed greatly to the safety and security of our nation.”

The FBI director said he tapped attorney Zachary Harmon to replace Rybicki.

Sara Carter previously reported Rybicki was implicated in a text exchange between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page involving a potential leak to the Washington Post:

One of the text messages the congressional committees are interested in involves Strzok and Page discussing a story published in the Washington Post.

On Nov. 3, 2016, just days before the election, Page texted Strzok, and mentions a call she had with FBI Chief of Staff James Rybicki.

“Sorry Rybicki called,” Page states. “Time line article in the post is super specific and not good. Doesn’t make sense because I didn’t have specific information to give.”

Strzok, responds, “what post article?”

Page then states, “just went up. WaPo.” Page apparently was referencing an article in the Washington Post.

The departing official testified before House members in their ongoing probe into the FBI’s conduct while investigating the Hillary Clinton email scandal, reports CNN.

Commas are everything. I thought Wray was out, in addition to Comey’s COS.

He just wants to spend more time with his family lawyer.

I’ve been trying hard to give Wray the benefit of the doubt. But, I’m losing my grip. This Jim Rybicki has been at the pinnacle of FBI leadership for “many years”. During that time his FBI boys and girls have committed countless felonies and drug the once vaunted agency down into the mud.

What does Wray do? He proceeds to profusely compliment the guy! This kind of non accountability and rah rah cis boom ba everything’s fine bs is exactly what the American People are tired of and why Trump was elected.

If your anywhere near the to of this FBI, you need to clean out your desk and get gone!

The Dept of Justice National Security Division is the group that monitors and approves all DOJ/FBI FISA requests.

The Assistant AG in charge of that group in 2016 was a guy named John Carlin. He was a close associate of Robert Mueller, and was appointed by Loretta Lynch.

Carlin left his job for the private sector in September 2016 - about 5 weeks before the election.

Why would someone so well placed to rise in a Clinton Administration resign a mere 5 weeks before her expected victory? What was his role in the GPS/FISA scandal?

John Carlin is a name we never hear in this investigation. Has Devin Nunes spoken with him?

Everytime a government employee employee would leave, the MSM crowed about how “people couldn’t work with Trump,” and “The administration is in chaos!”

Now, when an FBI higher up leaves under a cloud it: “This is just routine - it has been in the works for a long time...”

Long-winded way of saying, Jim’s working on his legal defense fund

Corporate sector my aching butt. Rybicki had better be rehearsing his testimony.

Jim Rybicki appears to be about 45 years old. So young to be leaving a long term career.

Something sure is fishy here.

“”FBI Chief of Staff James Rybicki is to be interviewed behind closed doors on Thursday by members of two House committees””

Rybicki is interviewed last Thursday and resigns this week.

What a coincidence!!!!!

Sounds like his interview did not go well.
