SC has some problems culturally with worship of the military like a false god. That’s a big part of the support for Graham. Neocon beliefs are still very big there. Many conservatives in SC would rather have endless wars in the Middle East and open borders than neither. That’s the real problem.

I know, I know. In my heart of hearts, I don’t believe the president will ever cave on illegal “immigration.”
